The recent rains in Bengaluru have impacted thousands across the city. Our Parikrma Koramangala Centre for Learning is one of the schools that has also taken a beating. The school roof, in partial areas, is covered with asbestos sheets. In recent years, the sheet has been slowly giving way, with very tiny holes appearing. During the monsoon, raindrops and, at times, insects come through. Although this doesn’t enter classrooms, a few sections of the school remain susceptible to these external elements, which require extra maintenance and cost on the ground staff. 

We want to remedy this situation by not only replacing the sheet but also fixing a net above to make it safer from rain and insects.
