Shukla Bose is the answer to that question.

After 26 years in the corporate and hospitality sectors, including senior leadership roles at Oberoi Group and as CEO of an international NGO, Shukla chose to begin again and this time in one of the most underserved corners of society.

With just one rented room, one teacher, and 165 children, she founded the Parikrma Humanity Foundation. Today, it runs 4 schools and a college that provide 360-degree care-education, nutrition, healthcare, and family support to over 2,000 children living in urban slums across Bengaluru.

Shukla’s second act isn’t just about access to education, it’s about dignity, aspiration, and breaking generational cycles of poverty.
Her model doesn’t treat children as beneficiaries, but as future citizens of the world. And she brings the same fierce compassion to her work as she once did to boardrooms ,only now, her shareholders are children, parents, and entire communities.
