This year’s PCL was all about great football and loads of fun – with teams from across states making it to the semi-finals, exhibition girls team matches and activities including art shows and games. 

When I started Parikrma more than two decades ago, many well-wishers and journalists asked me what my long-term plan was. The truth is — in the early years of any non-profit, there is barely enough time to think of the next month, let alone the next 20 years.

“My 97-year-old mother, once fiercely independent, is now partially bedridden. I have become her primary caregiver.
